Double Talk Tour 2017: Amsterdam / Antwerp

As a representative of Malika's Poetry Kitchen, I was invited to participate in the Double Talk spoken word and hip-hop showcase and tour. I repped for the UK, alongside Breis and Nick Makoha. Also on the tour was US poet and spoken word musician Sharrif Simmons. My face was plastered all over Amsterdam in publicity posters and the brochure for the Double Talk event - a night at the world famous Paradiso, showcasing international poetry, spoken word and hip-hop. Poetry and spoken word were in the upstairs cafe space, hip-hop was on the big stage. Poetry and spoken word was hosted by the mega talented dutch spoken word artist Babs Gons, from Palabras. We also had the dizzying experience of sharing the bill with hip-hop legends Special Ed and Dead Prez!
